Comments on life impact	Clinical instructors in the nursing school were excellent. Most of the classes I was required to take at the Univ. to complete my ed. degree were education classes, were useful and served me well in teaching.

Vivid UVA memories
Comments on vivid memories	There were very few women on grounds and in the classrooms when I was going to classes at the Univ. We were never made to feel uncomfortable. Ex: one winter morning I fell on icy steps going to Cabell Hall. Books flew in 10 directions. Boys seemed to appear out of the bricks-picked me and my possessions up and went merrily on their way.
