Additional comments Some miscellaneous thoughts: Most of the female students with whom I was associated were nurses (RN's). Many of these were RN's returning from the Armed services and going to school on the GI Bill. The individuals who had more of a college life than I who was working and going to school. I worked nights and took classes during the day. In those days too, one could not obtain a degree without having matriculated in a 12-15 semester hours program for at least 1 full year. There were 197 women in the university back in those days.
