Comments on preparedness It prepared me very well in Nursing--I had opportunities for advancement for which I had no interest.

Comments on most significant event I attained a BS in Physics--worked for a short time in Radiological Health, got married, didn't work for ten years, attended computer classes after my husband died, stayed in computers
Personal factors that affected professional life
Comments on personal factors After my husband died, I continued to care for my invalid mother for seventeen more years. She had in home nursing assistance while I was at work. This responsibility curtailed both my social and professional life outside the home.
