Memories of Charlottesville |
|
Comments on Charlottesville memories |
U.Va. has always been beautiful. The town had a small town atmosphere with lots of green space in which to hike and picnic. There was local town bus service for transportation-very few student cars.

Vivid UVA memories |
|
Comments on vivid memories |
The medical community in the early '40's seemed to be a separate part of the Univ. During this time period nursing students (all female) not only attended classes, but provided the major part of the hospital's staffing. I had very little free time and the rules in McKim Hall were very strict for youg women.
