Vivid UVA memories |

Comments on vivid memories |
In my senior year I was serving a term of night duty. I awoke feeling sick and unable to go on duty. The nurses Dr. Beckwith admitted me to the hospital for diagnosis. I was in a private $5 a day room on "A" ward-no charge to students. I didn't feel too bad, but many Drs. were not sure of the cause. Finally, an intern following a group of Drs. around spoke up and said "looks like my sister's chicken pox." It was.

I feel sure that chose the right profession and got the best schooling for it at U.Va. H. I did special duty while the children were in school and enjoyed every minute of it. We have attended reunions when we could and have great times there, especially our 50th in 1989 and 55th in 1994. Many thanks to that committee.
