For the past 22 years, we have been bringing up our granddaughter whose father died (cancer) three weeks before she was born. Her mother was diagnosed with breast cancer when she was four years old. After 6 years of treatment at Johns Hopkins, she died when Sarah was ten years old. She, Sarah, is graduating from college in May and plans to go on to graduate school.
