My most memorable experience was walking down the Lawn at graduation. I felt so special to be walking where so many others had marched on their graduation day. I truly felt like I was becoming a part of the history of the "University."

I dated my husband-to-be the entire time I was at U.Va. He lived in Richmond and was attending the U. of Richmond. He would either come up to U.Va. or I would go home.

I was a sheltered only child who grew up with lots of friends and attended church regularly. I adjusted well to the "University experience."

I was an R.N. with a degree. I felt that my experiences at U.Va. prepared me for dealing with people from all walks of life.
