We worked half the weekends in the hospital as part of the clinical experience in our program. The other weekends I worked for pay or studied.

I belonged to Kappa Delta. It was a very limited experience as it was only one of the two sororities at U.Va. at the time. There were no sorority houses, or joint ventures with any fraternities.

We lived in McKim Hall adjascent to the hospital. My 4th year I had a single room with a sink. This was good since my classmates and I went to class and worked different hours.
