Did you feel part of UVA community? Did you feel part of community?
Incidents that caused these community feelings The nursing students were not really accepted into the whole overall picture of the University, perhaps because it was not co-ed at the time and all the nursing students were female. One specific incident to allow us to feel a part of the University was when the nursing school choir was invited to perform over the U.Va. student radio station..
Vivid UVA memories
Comments on vivid memories I can't recall a specific experience. However, the overall experience was very positive and I wear my U.Va. nursing school pin to work every day (36 years later) expressing my pride to be a graduate of U.Va., a wonderful school.
