Felt training and classroom instructions were above average. However - the work schedule (11-7, 3-11, 7-3) was a killer and after the freshman year usually was scheduled once a week.

Clinical training were scheduled on weekends as well as weekdays. Therefore when I had a weekend off I either went home relaxed with friends, etc.

It was small enough to be friendly and large enough to provide for my needs. The "grounds" were beautiful, the mountains soothing.

The nursing school was treated rather like a "red headed stepchild." The women students in other programs were given more privileges and benefits. That always seemed unfar.

The fact that I came from a very rural town affected my outlook on many things. I didn't have the experience of knowing people from other cultures. Therefore, it was a real learning experience.
