Great - super teachers. Some of the head nurses were unnecessarily difficult (and I'm not soft on discipline) on the students time for anything outside of hospital work.

Very good, can't think of one I didn't really have a great relationship with during my 3 year education.

No one in particular, all contributed equally. Pediatric instructor (can't remember names now) influenced me into that specialized area. Good choice, but I quickly moved from head nurse 1 year post-graduation to superviosr and found my strong point in administration.

Very good classroom but superior practicial experience as we spent so much time on 3-11:30 P.M. and 11:00 P.M-7:00 A.M. duty and in class during the day. When we were compared to or worked with nurses from other schools, our experience soon moved us above the others in responsibilities and position.

I was lucky to get 1 weekend off every 2 to 3 months! Then I would go home.

Dr. William Muller pioneering open heart surgery. I was on pediatrics at the time for an extra 3 month assignment in my senior year and it was very exciting to be a part of this new but somewhat experimental surgical procedure.
