Additional comments I learned early as a registered nurse that I would need and want more education to progress in my field. My parents made a great sacrifice to send me to the Univ. where the program I needed was in place. My main goal was to do well. Being one of the few women students was interesting, but the Univ. accepted me in the Nursing Ed. program, so I focused on my studies primarily. I remember being 1 of maybe 2 women in psychology class, for example. There seemed to be 100 total students, or more. I don't remember any problems related to this. At the time, the male students dressed in suits and ties primarily, and the emphasis was on courtesy, manners, etc. I don't know if I can offer any more info., but if necessary for clarification.
